A Feline Foster Fail

We happily opened our doors to another foster cat, Selina, just two weeks before the onset of COVID-19 lockdowns. Rescued off the streets due to concerns about her survival, Selina, being smaller than her littermates, made a grand entrance, strutting confidently from her crate into our apartment. Although not initially keen on being stroked, she expressed a strong desire to be close by.

In no time, Selina transitioned from foster to a permanent resident—another foster fail to add to our list. Her peculiar habits added to her charm; she developed a unique habit of occasionally eating her food with her paw. Affectionately dubbed "Queen Nini," Selina assumed a regal air in our home. Harley, our resident dog, wouldn't dare enter a room without Selina's approval, and she even bowed down to her feline majesty before eating her meals.
