A Senior Foster

After a short break from fostering to adjust to Harley being a permanent member of the home, I received a request to take on a senior foster for just a couple of days before they could go on to their long-term foster. Strawberry looked adorable in photos but had a severe case of mange and had very little fur.

Strawberry turned out to be incredibly sweet and not nervous at all. Harley welcomed her new foster sister, and they got along exceptionally well. Though Strawberry was only with us for a weekend, I decided to take her along to an adoption event, where she enjoyed saying hello to everyone. After the weekend, she was picked up to go to her long-term foster due to a few medical complications that would make adoption a little more challenging. Unsurprisingly, Strawberry's long-term foster ended up fostering failing, and she stayed with them!
